Check-Inn Hotels has announced the commencement of operations of its first mid-market Hotel “Check Inn” at New Delhi, India. Located on Babar Road in Delhi’s business district, Connaught Place, the 43-room hotel was made operational nine months after the property was taken over. The Check-Inn Hotel at New Delhi focuses purely on providing accommodation. It offers rooms in three categories – executive (6), deluxe (35) and superior (2) which feature queen-size beds, 32-inch Plasma TVs, Wi-fi Internet connection, tea & coffee makers, in-room dining facilities and work desks.
The hotel chain caters for business and leisure travellers looking for mid-market, accommodation that offers value for money. Group CEO, Hemal Modi said; “Check Inn has been developed by Indians for optimum use for Indians. Having a complete understanding of in the Indian usage pattern we have developed a product that has all the utilities with a touch of vanity to ensure the sanity of the accommodation experience. Check Inn has developed a model which primarily concentrates on the accommodation experience.”
As the group expands its portfolio, Check Inn Hotels will crop up in metro cities within central business districts. “We identified various focus areas, of which four factors were topmost priority – location, safety & security, comfort (not luxury) and food and hygienic environment. We covered these areas and added a fifth element – value proposition,” added Modi.
