China Airlines said passengers traveling on economy class to North America (including Guam) will be limited to two pieces of baggage, with a weight limit of 23kg per piece.
This applies for tickets issued from April 15. It will charge NT$800 (US$26) for each piece of luggage that exceeds the weight limit of 23kg.
For business-class and first-class passengers, the weight limit for the two pieces of free luggage remains at 32kg per piece. China Airlines is following IATA’s environmental protection measures to reduce fuel waste.
