China Airlines launches KL-Kaohsiung flights

China Airlines (CAL) has launched a new route connecting the Kaohsiung (pictured), in southern Taiwan, with the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur. The route will be operated twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 158 seats.
The new route will complement CAL’s existing daily flights between Taipei and KL.
Abdul Hamid Mohd Ali, Chief Operating Officer of Malaysia Airports said; “Malaysia Airports welcomes China Airlines introduction of new service to Kaohsiung, which has directly increases connections for KLIA. The tourism attraction and business opportunities at both countries will certainly ensure the success of this operation, and we wish China Airlines all the best on this new route.”
