China Airlines, along with Taiwan’s Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), has launched a three-week safety exhibition at its CAL Park headquarters in Taoyuan. The ‘Fly With Safety – Aviation Industry Safety and Health Exhibition’ intends to educate the public about the importance of flight safety, as well as improving safety and health knowledge among CAL employees and other aviation industry personnel. Aviation industry groups and schools are being invited to view the exhibition by making reservations in advance.
The exhibition will feature a range of safety issues, ranging from avoiding on-the-job injuries to identifying risks that could potentially harm aircraft or passengers. Tour guides will be on hand to take groups through the exhibition, which also features imagery of CAL pilots, cabin crew, ground staff, maintenance personnel and catering staff, to give the public a better understanding of the aviation industry.
The event concludes, somewhat ironically, on Friday 13th May.
