China Airlines moves to JFK T4
China Airlines’ (CAL) New York flights will operate from Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport from tomorrow (30 April 2012).
The move from T1 is intended to offer greater convenience for passengers transferring to other SkyTeam alliance carriers. T4 is the designated SkyTeam terminal.
“Given that Terminal 1 at JFK International Airport is near full capacity, China Airlines decided to move its arriving and departing flights to Terminal 4 to maximise synergies with SkyTeam, such as shared resources,” CAL said in a statement. “When departing from Terminal 4, SkyTeam Elite Plus members can enjoy priority lines at security and use the KLM Oasis Lounge,” it added.
CAL’s check-in counters are located at the second island counter of the second-floor departures hall, and they open for check-in three and a half hours before flight departure.
