Taiwan’s largest carrier, China Airlines (CAL) has signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with the Zhejiang Tourism Group, a major travel service provider in mainland China’s Zhejiang province. The agreement was signed by CAL General Manager Huang-Hsiang Sun and Zhejiang Tourism Group General Manager Yu Yueming at a special ceremony held in Kaohsiung. The agreement will see both sides combine to speed up interaction between Taiwan and Zhejiang, in preparation for the increase of tourism from Zhejiang when Taiwan starts permitting individual mainland Chinese tourists.
CAL currently operates six round-trip flights per week linking Taichung, Kaohsiung to the Zhejiang province cities of Hangzhou and Ningbo.
