China Southern boosts services
China’s largest carrier, China Southern Airlines, is adding more flights and routes for the winter season, Xinhua has reported. From 26 October to 28 March, the airline will add 18 new routes, including Wuhan-Sanya, Shenzhen-Sanya and Harbin-Taiyuan-Shenzhen.
According to the report, China Southern’s weekly flights will rise to 7,688 – 12.2% up from the same period last year. Domestically the tourist island of Hainan will see large increases with 10 daily flights from Guangzhou to Haikou and eight from Guangzhou to Sanya.
Internationally, Guangzhou-Sydney and Guangzhou-Melbourne be served by direct daily flights, with extra services added on services from Beijing to Seoul and Manila, from Guangzhou to Dubai, New Delhi, Seoul and Bangkok, and from Shenyang to Singapore.
