China Southern’s new fuel surcharge hikes

China Southern Airlines will raise fuel surcharges on domestic flights by as much as 50%, Bloomberg has reported. A CNY150 (US$21.89) levy will be imposed on journeys over 800km, rising from CNY100 (US$14.59). The fee on shorter flights will rise to CNY80 (US$11.68) from CNY60 (US$8.76).
