Chinese jet makes longest test flight

China’s first domestically-developed passenger plane, the ARJ21-700, made its longest trial flight on Wednesday, Xinhua reported. The jet flew 1,300km in about two hours from Shanghai to Xi’an. The flight was 19th trial flight of the 90-seat aircraft, which is due to be delivered to clients by 2010.
