Adopting technology into every areas of the hotel is the new mantra for most hotels. Adopting this trend is Citymax hotels who have recently partnered with Aruba Networks’.
The partnership will see Aruba deploy its wireless infrastructure in the chain’s Al Barsha and Bur Dubai properties. This deployment will offer guests wireless connectivity across the entire premises including elevators and basement parking lots.
Amit Kanchan, head of IT for Landmark Hospitality said: “Today, we summarize our customers’ primary requirements with three Bs – Bed, Breakfast and Bandwidth. When guests enter our hotel, they don’t want a welcome drink, they want to connect immediately. We are therefore adapting our business accordingly.”
With the wireless infrastructure in place, Citymax hotels has begun to witness a steady return on investment.
