Club Med to launch Guilin resort
Club Med is set to launch a new resort in the southern Chinese scenic area of Guilin.
Opening in May 2013, the new Club Med Guilin will be a year-round resort, set across 46 hectares of land, featuring more than 150 sculptures.
The resort features two separate accommodation wings – the 284-room Courtyard hotel and a 46-room boutique Chateau hotel. Like all Club Med resorts it will feature an all-inclusive concept with guests offered three daily meals from a choice of two main restaurants, a noodle bar and four lounges including a rooftop terrace. There is also nightly entertainment and themed parties.
Leisure facilities at the property include three swimming pools, a spa, rock climbing, and a nine-hole pitch and putt golf course, while uests are also offered a range of activities such as tai chi, meditation and yoga, art classes, calligraphy, ceramics and printmaking.
