Compagnie du Ponant has set its targets on doubling its MICE business as part of a new business plan.
The French yacht cruise operator is aiming for the MICE sector to account for 15% of sales in the short-term after introducing a string of initiatives for the audience in the last year.
This has included a new dedicated MICE team including Elizabth Breton Bernard as commercial manager MICE for Europe and Clem Galindo in the US role.
A dedicated brochure, newsletter and website area for MICE has also been introduced, showcasing its ships and their facilities.
Event and conference organisers can choose from 41 itineraries sailing from Nice, Naples, Venice and Athens.
