Cosmos launches exotic beach programme for 2017
Cosmos has launched an exotic beach programme featuring a choice of luxury beach resorts and hotels in Africa, the Indian Ocean, India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from £775 per person.
Building on the growth and success of its worldwide touring and cruise programme, the tour operator has introduced exotic beach holidays featuring mostly four and five star rated hotels.
With flexibility an all-important factor, the beach holidays can be tailored to suit individual customers and a choice of UK departure airports, durations (from three nights upwards) plus board and room type upgrades are available. The new beach breaks can also be added as an extension to a tour or cruise for a multi-centre stay.
Meeting customer demand to experience new cultures and destinations, the range includes well known exotic beach destinations including the Maldives, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Goa and Mombasa.
The selection also includes lesser known beach resorts such as the UAE’s Ras al Khaimah, India’s state of Kerala, as well as the East African island of Zanzibar. Priced from £775pp for a six night stay at the four star rated Hyatt Place Dubai Al Rigga on a bed and breakfast basis.
To appeal to a broad market, a total of 26 Maldivian lagoon and reef islands are featured, offering the widest choice of luxury resorts with varying styles of accommodation, sports facilities, and activities as well as dining and spa/relaxation experiences. The Maldives beach stays are priced from £1029 per person for a seven night stay at the Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi on an all-inclusive basis.
In Mauritius, eight luxury resort hotels are featured with first class facilities including wellness & spa centres plus a wide range of water sports.
With the UAE’s reputation for a high level of service and five star hotels, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are featured, as well as the lesser known beach resort of Ras al-Khaimah. Top hotels in the region include the Atlantis Palm Dubai, Hilton Abu Dhabi and Al Hamra Village Golf and Beach Resort. Priced from £775 per person for a six night stay at the four star rated Hyatt Place Dubai Al Rigga on a bed and breakfast basis.
As Goa’s beaches are a popular choice with the British market, a broad range of eighteen hotels are on offer.
Developing Cosmos’ choice of Kenyan safari and beach options, the unique and beautiful island of Zanzibar, located just off the Tanzania coast, is now offered for any duration. It can be combined with a three night Tsavo Ambo Safari. A combined Kenya safari/beach stay is priced from £1,945, staying at the Neptune Beach, Bamburi (a six night all inclusive stay).
Rob Goodwin, Cosmos’ head of Product commented: “The last six months has seen us really diversify our product range to offer our customers new and exciting holidays and specialised experiences. With our worldwide network of offices and close partnerships with local contractors, we are in a strong position to expand into the high end beach market, and just in time for the peak selling period.”
