Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East opened its doors to guests at the hotel soft opening yesterday.
All of its 359 rooms including 43 Club Rooms and 5 Club Suites are framed by floor to ceiling windows, and range from 30-90 square metres with a unique ceiling height of 2.85 meters. All rooms feature a 40” LED television, Simmons mattress, ergonomic desk chair, and rain shower.
The hotel boasts four restaurants and bars, including the roof-top Italian alfresco dining restaurant and bar Cielo, the contemporary Tze Yuet Heen Cantonese restaurant, the all-day dining Chef’s Table restaurant with live cooking stations, and the Lobby Lounge is available for afternoon tea.
Lining itself up as a business hotel, the Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East offers 11 function rooms and 2,400 square metres of events space. This includes the Grand Ballroom, one of the largest in Hong Kong with a 6.75-meter tall high ceiling and over 1,000 square metres of pillar-less space for up to 1,000 people at a sit down gala dinner.
To unwind, the luxury Sense of Touch spa has seven private garden treatment rooms, offering a range of holistic, beauty, health and wellness treatments. There is also a 24-hour fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool.
In the soft opening phase, all guest rooms, dining, meeting and banquet facilities, 24-hour fitness centre will be fully operational, while the 25 metre outdoor swimming pool and Sense of Touch Spa will be progressively revealed. The grand opening of the Hotel with full facilities has been set for December 2012.
