Cruise website launches to showcase Southampton

A new website has launched containing information about Southampton port and the city. CruiseSouthampton.com contains information about travelling to and from the cruise terminal, as well as what is on offer in the city and which ships are sailing off over the next two years. Listings on the website include attractions, accommodation, food and drink, concierge and travel and transport, with maps and guides available to download. These can all be saved in the activity planner, which can be shared or printed off for use. “CruiseSouthampton.com aims to fulfill the needs of cruise passengers and crew; whether it’s last minute necessities, a couple of hours to spare or they plan to top or tail their cruise holiday with a stay, our aim is to make it as easy as possible to find what they need,” said Damian Gevertz, managing director of CruiseSouthampton.com. “Through our research and discussion with passengers, ABP Southampton, cruise lines and many local businesses, we recognized that if there could be one central source of information for passengers, it would help them plan their time more effectively, whether it’s at home or onboard a cruise ship before they docked in Southampton.” Each cruise ship is set to generate
