The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) recently organised workshop and orientation sessions for travel
agents in Delhi and Mumbai on 18-19 March 2014.
Present at the session were CTC’s India representatives and travel partners who were updated with unique travel products in Canada. CTC also held successful workshops in Ahmedabad and Chennai in February this year.
In 2014, CTC will focus on their recently launched Canadian Signature Experiences (CSE) in cities other than Delhi and Mumbai. The Canada Specialist Program (CSP) is a tool designed to educate travel agents, who are the key channel in international travel purchase in India.
“In 2014, the CTC plans to grow its network by imparting destination education to agents in Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata etc. We will also be focussing on the Canadian Signature Experiences to help agents package the products better and sell more confidently. These are once-in-a-lifetime experiences found only in Canada,” says SanJeet, India representative for CTC.
