Cunard has announced that it is to launch an agent-focused new flight booking tool, Cunard CompleteAir, on 15 August as part of its ‘continuous commitment to service and innovation’.
The new programme, which will be available on the POLAR online cruise-booking engine, gives agents real time flight availability from multiple carriers with information including price, time and preferred route.
As with current air programmes, flight bookings will be non-commissionable.
The development will also see the introduction of Next Port Protection – a system which allows passengers to get another flight, free of charge, to the next convenient port, if their first flight is delayed and causes them to miss embarkation. This applies to all cruises except Transatlantic Crossings.
