Cyprus Airways has dropped its charge to carry sports equipment weighing under 15kgs on flights. The free service replaces the previous one-way fee of EUR35. It covers routes to and from Paphos International and Larnaca International from London, Manchester, Frankfurt, Munich, Rome and Paris. Maro Kazepi, golf tourism coordinator at Cyprus Tourism Organisation was confident the change would make an impact. “We welcome the positive news from Cyprus Airways which is a further boost for the golf tourism business in Cyprus. It enhances its attractiveness as a golfing destination and offers golf enthusiasts the added benefit of better value for money golf holidays,” she said.
