Delta Air Lines and Air France KLM today announced they will add an extra daily flight between Heathrow and New York-JFK. From 20 September the airlines will have three daily flights on the route all year using a Boeing 767-400ER. The service is scheduled to fit between existing flight times. Delta’s new flight will depart Heathrow at 12:30 p.m. between existing departures at 10:05 a.m. and 5:05 p.m. The added departure from JFK will operate at 11:05 p.m. complementing existing departures at 6:45 and 9 p.m. “With the economy rebounding we continue to see corporate travel demand improve across our network, particularly to New York,” said Delta Airlines Senior Vice President Europe, the Middle East and Africa Perry Cantarutt.
