Delta offers triple bonus miles for HK-Detroit route

07 Jun 10 (TravMedia.com): Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today announced that SkyMiles members flying the airline’s new nonstop flights between Hong Kong and Detroit can earn up to triple bonus miles for their travel. The new flights begin June 4 and will operate five times weekly..

Delta customers who are SkyMiles members can enroll in the promotion by registering at delta.com/triple by Sept. 30, 2010, and by flying the Hong Kong -Detroit route anytime between June 4 and Sept. 30. Once registered, SkyMiles members will automatically qualify for the promotion and will earn triple miles for each BusinessElite flight flown and double flown miles for Economy Class flights. Delta’s expansion at Hong Kong is part of the first fully consolidated summer schedule published following Delta’s merger with Northwest Airlines, allowing the airline to reallocate existing capacity to new routes. New nonstop flights from Hong Kong to Detroit will be timed for convenient connections with Delta’s combined daily departures to 129 destinations from Detroit.
