With the launch of Disney Fantasy this month, the cruise line has doubled its fleet in just over a year and thus be able to take more families to more destinations around the world. Disney now offers cruises from new ports including New York, Galveston, Texas and Miami for the first time plus offer new destinations such as Venice and the Greek Isles.
Beginning May 25, 2012 Disney Magic sets sail for a total of 20 cruises from New York including the Bahamas and New England coast. From September the Disney Magic moves to Galveston, Texas from where she will perform seven-night Western Caribbean cruises. Beginning 1 June 2013 the ship returns to the Mediterranean cruising four-night, seven-night and special 12-night cruises from Barcelona.
Disney Wonder moves to Seattle from May to sail Alaska’s Inside Passage on 14 seven – night cruises and for rest of the year will continue to cruise Mexican Riviera cruises from Los Angeles. On completion of its Alaska deployment she moves to Miami for its Caribbean and the Bahamas deployment before her return to Alaska for the summer 2013 Alaska season.
Disney Fantasy will be based in Port Canaveral from where it will perform alternating seven-night eastern and western Caribbean itineraries.
Disney Dream continues to sail three, four and five-night cruises to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral on a year round basis.
