From 11th November, Disneyland Paris will be transformed to celebrate the arrival of Christmas.
For two months, guests will be immersed in a world of festivities including Disney’s Christmas Parade, which will be joined this year by two new floats – The Toy Factory and Fun in the Snow.
The parade will feature two performances every day by more than eighty performers—including more than twenty Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Clarice, Daisy and Clarabelle.
The facades of Main Street, U.S.A. will glow with a thousand lights and the shops and vehicles – decorated for the occasion – will sparkle in the colours of Christmas. In Central Plaza, visitors will find mischievous snowmen, imitating famous Disney Characters.
Another highlight will be the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree during “Mickey’s Magical Christmas Lights” presentation. After a festive countdown, the Christmas tree, the bright garlands along Main Street, U.S.A. and Sleeping Beauty Castle will be lit up.
Along with Mickey and Minnie, Father Christmas will ensure that the huge 24-metre Christmas tree illuminates Town Square every day to the sound of Christmas tunes.
The night-time show Disney Dreams! of Christmas will feature Frozen characters including Olaf and Elsa, in a production featuring projections, light shows, fountains, special effects and fireworks.
Disneyland Paris celebrates Christmas from 11th November 2016 to 8th January 2017.
