Dollar Thrifty gears up for ATM 2011

Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group is anticipating a highly successful Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in May, and will focus on regional expansion, training activities and the strategies to deal with the regional unrest and its effect on tourism. Flying in from the US will be Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group senior VP, Jeff Cerefice, and executive director, Global Franchise Development and Operations, Tom Kelley. “Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group has had a phenomenal year, and for us, it’s full speed ahead,” said Cerefice. “The MENA region is extremely important to the company, which significantly contributes to our overall revenue. We have some big deals in the pipeline to expand our business, and will be speaking with our supporting partners, potential buyers, corporate customers and travel agents in order to ensure the continued success in the region.”Dollar and Thrifty franchises from UAE, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, India, Turkey as well as corporate representatives from Europe, the US, Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America, will be attending the trade show to showcase their portfolio of services in their respective countries. The group will also host a training session for marketing, new customer service initiatives and time management following the event on the 6th and 7th of May. The Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group stand will be located in Hall 1, Stand CR 380.
