Hong Kong’s Dragonair will launch flights to the Japanese city of Hiroshima this summer.
Commencing on 16 August 2015, the new direct service will operate twice a week, with flights running every Thursday and Saturday. Dragonair will serve the route using its two-class Airbus A321 aircraft.
“Japan has long been a popular destination among the Hong Kong travelling public and this new service will cater to the growing demand for both leisure and commercial traffic,” said Dragonair’s CEO, Algernon Yau.
“The launch of the Hiroshima service highlights Dragonair’s commitment to developing a comprehensive network in Asia and, at the same time, strengthening Hong Kong’s position as one of the region’s key aviation hubs.”
Hiroshima will become Dragonair’s fourth destination in Japan, following Tokyo Haneda, Fukuoka and Okinawa.
