DTC hold English course for cabbies’

In an effort to streamline the tourism in the country, Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recently conducted a free English language course for cab drivers.
This was done in cooperation with Danube Educational Institute as part of DTC’s attention to improve the skills of taxi drivers.
The opening session of the course was attended by Engineer Ahmed Khalfan Al Suwaidi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Corporation and Samir Shah, manager of the Danube Educational Institute in addition to senior officials of the DTC and the Institute.
The course comes as part of ‘Speak Fluently’ initiative launched by DTC’s Human Resources Department in order to hone English language skills for the taxi drivers and enhance the DTC’s corporate profile.
