Dubai Business Events (DBE) recently hosted it’s Al Safeer Congress Ambassador, an annually recurring networking event that brings together prominent doctors, scientists, businessmen and government officials from across the Emirate.
The event will witness the individuals discuss best practice and pay tribute to ongoing efforts in positioning Dubai as a global hub for knowledge exchange.
The event opened up conversation on how continued innovation throughout the city creates an environment where meetings and conferences can flourish. Accordingly, DBE reflected on a year of growth for events, demonstrating significant role the Al Safeer Programme plays in attracting global players and bringing international conferences to Dubai.
Hamad Bin Mejren, senior vice president, Dubai Events and Convention Bureau, a Division of Dubai Tourism, said: “The Al Safeer ambassador programme embodies so much of what we, at DBE, want the world to see. There is a wealth of knowledge in Dubai and it’s manifested in these individuals. We have seen great results from the programme and are confident that it will help us continue position Dubai as a premier destination for international business events.”
The programme aims to engage Dubai-based scientists, business professionals and organizations who are connected with international institutions and associations to work with DBE to bring meetings and conferences to Dubai. The programme currently has over 280 members from diverse fields and sectors.
