Thai hotel group Dusit International has officially launched its first property in the beach resort province of Krabi.
The new Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort opened on 1 July 2015, located at Klong Muang Beach. The resort offers 240 rooms, three restaurants, a bar, two beachfront swimming pools, a spa, gym, kid’s club and meeting space.
“With a world-class management team in place, we are confident in the five-star service Dusit will provide,” said Suvait Theeravachirakul, president & CEO of the resort’s owner, MBK Group. “The resort’s location and facilities, coupled with Dusit’s signature gracious Thai hospitality, will surely impress tourists from around the world here in the ‘Emerald of the Andaman Sea.”
Chanin Donavanik, managing director & CEO of Dusit International, said the resort was an “excellent addition” to Dusit’s portfolio and a “natural fit for the brand”.
“This signing underpins our confidence in the country, and in the high potential of Krabi as a growing destination. Dusit continues to pursue international expansion, but Thailand definitely plays a role in our growth plans,” Donavanik added.
The Krabi resort becomes Dusit’s 13th property in Thailand, in a portfolio that covers Bangkok, Phuket, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Pattaya, Nakhon Ratchasima, and now Krabi.
