WWF’s Earth Hour will strengthen its focus on the pressing issue of environmental challenge – climate change.
The ninth edition of Earth Hour will roll across the globe at 8:30 pm local time on 28 March 2015, only months before a new global climate deal is expected to be agreed.
“Climate change is not just the issue of the hour, it’s the issue of our generation,” said Sudhanshu Sarronwala, member, board of directors, Earth Hour Global Ltd. “During the Earth Hour, lights may go out for one hour, but actions of millions throughout the year will inspire solutions required to change climate change.”
2015 will be the eighth consecutive year that UAE will participate in the global movement against climate change.
