easyJet has announced it will expand services from Manchester Airport in the summer 2012 season. The airline, which has six aircraft based at the airport, is due to deploy a seventh plane in Manchester next year to be used on new routes. “Our new commitment to expansion at Manchester is a reflection of the level of support we have received from customers since our launch here in 2008. We currently offer 26 routes from Manchester,” said Paul Simmons, UK director of easyJet.
