A new attraction aimed at engaging visitors on environmental conservation has opened in Saint Lucia. The multi-million pounds Our Planet Centre is an interactive attraction with the largest mirror-sphere in the world; an exclusive hologram of Prince Charles; a hurricane simulation room; touch-screen displays and a NASA room, which will stream weather information. “Our Planet Centre seeks to promote awareness of conserving the earth’s environment and we believe that Saint Lucia is the ideal place to start leading our conservation efforts,” said Sarah Adams, executive director of Our Planet Centre. The attraction was funded by the German government and other corporations such as Marks & Spencer, Hilton and Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority. Other centres are expected to open worldwide.
