Egypt’s first Salt Cave is due to open in the luxury Red Sea resort of Taba Heights. Made form dead Sea salt, a stay in the cave is said to aid the treatment of many ailments, including dermatological diseases, nervous system disorders, metabolic disturbances, digestive tract problems, underproduction of hyperthyroidism, heart disease and illnesses of the respiratory tract.”We are really excited about the Salt Cave - it perfectly complements the serenity of Taba Heights and we are proud to provide such a beneficial outlet for the wellbeing of our guests”, said Omar El Halaby, VP marketing for Orascom Development.
The new Salt Cave will be around 100 metres in size and will be located in Taba Heights’ Uptown area.
A session in the chamber takes 45 minutes and guests can make their experience last by purchasing salt cosmetics, salt lamps and salt candles, all of which are 100% natural and environmentally friendly.
