Egypt tourism thanks UK travel trade

Egypt’s tourism authorities held a dinner at The Langham hotel in London last night to thank the UK travel trade for its continued support.
Hosted by the Egypt Tourism Authority and national carrier Egyptair, the event was presided over by Hisham Zazou, Egypt’s Minister of Tourism, and gathered the country’s main UK travel trade partners.
Egypt is exhibiting at the World Travel Market in London this week.
Tourism to Egypt is rebounding in 2015, with the country experiencing a 8.1% increase in international arrivals in the first nine months of the year.
The UK remains and important inbound source market for Egypt, which aiming to attract 20 million international tourists by 2020, approximately double the current figure.
