Eleven US-based airlines face investigations for not following safety directives, Bloomberg has reported the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as saying.
The airlines have not been named, but 3 of them have been called “major airlines”. FAA audits found 17 cases in which the carriers allegedly failed to meet directives, although it added that no passengers were put at risk.
