Embraer deliveries decline in 2009

Embraer, the Brazilian planemaker, has reported its results for 2009, with commercial aircraft deliveries declining to 122, from 162 in 2008. With the reduction of 40 aircraft, revenues decreased by US$869.8 million, or 20.5% of 2008 segment revenue. Of the total, Embraer delivered 62 E190 jets, 22 E170s, 20 E195s, 11 E175s and 7 ERJ 145s.The company has a total firm backlog of 265 aircraft, totalling US$16.6 billion.
