Embraer deliveries drop in Q1

Brazilian planemaker Embraer, delivered 28 aircraft in the first quarter of 2011 – down 32% from the 41 deliveries in the same quarter last year. The number of commercial planes delivered however, saw a marginal drop from 21 to 20. In the January-March 2011 quarter, Embraer delivered 11 E-190s, six E-195s, two E-175s and one E-170. It also delivered just eight executive jets – sharply down from the 19 it delivered in Q1 2010.
