Embraer deliveries increase in Q1

Brazilian planemaker Embraer delivered 41 jets in the first quarter of 2010, one more than the same period last year. The commercial airline market received 21 of this total, comprising 12 E190s, three E170s, two E195s, one E145 and one E175. The executive aviation sector accounted for a further 19 deliveries, with one being allocated to the defence sector. On 31 March 2010, the company’s firm order backlog totalled US$16 billion.
