Aircraft manufacturer, Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica SA, has seen quarterly profits fall 44%, largely due to the drop in the Brazilian real. According to a Bloomberg report, the planemaker’s net income declined to US$111.7 million in the fourth quarter, down from US$200.9 million a year earlier.
Embraer is the world’s fourth-largest planemaker, after Airbus, Boeing and Bombardier.
