Emirates’ boosts Tehran service

Emirates announced its fourth daily service to Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran. This new service will be celebrated with a one-off Airbus A380 service.
The inaugural flight carried a VIP delegation from Iran and Dubai. The delegation included senior executives from Emirates led by Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, Emirates’ divisional senior vice president for commercial operations centre.
“Iran is one of the most active aviation markets and an integral part of Emirates operations. Air links are important enablers of trade and tourism, Emirates is helping to contribute to the economy and meet increased demand,” said Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, Emirates’ divisional senior vice president for commercial operations centre.
The airline since commencement of the route has carried over 6.6 million passengers between the two countries.
