Emirates celebrates its Spain service

Emirates’ recently announced its intent to launch a daily A380 flight to Madrid. This is the airline’s 35th international A380 destination on its network.
The addition of the scheduled A380 service to Madrid coincides with the five year anniversary of the airline’s Spanish operations. The new A380 flight will add 2,900 seats per week between Dubai and Madrid, bringing total number of weekly seats to and from Spain to over 22,000.
“Emirates has carried more than 2.3 million passengers between Dubai and Spain since our launch and the introduction of this A380 will add much needed seat capacity on the route,” said Fernando Suarez de Gongora, country manager Spain.
The Emirates flight EK142, leaves Madrid at 1530hrs and lands in Dubai at 0045hrs the following day. The return flight EK141 departs Dubai at 0740hrs and arrives in Madrid at 1340hrs the same day.
The A380 to Madrid offers 519 seats including 14 first class, 76 in business class and 429 in economy class.
