Emirates completes lounge overhaul at BKK

Emirates has opened its refurbished lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Bangkok, for First Class and Business Class passengers, as well as Platinum and Gold members of Emirates Skywards.
The carrier spent USD1million on refurbishing the 516m2 facility which can now accommodate up to 136 passengers.
The airline has 35 lounges across its global network, all of which are schedule for refurbishment and Suvarnabhumi becomes the 24th project completed.
The lounge offers an extensive menu of complimentary hot and cold gourmet buffet and an extensive beverage service. Amenities include LED TVs, comfortable leather armchairs, a choice of formal and relaxed seating, a quiet area, dining area, prayer room, shower facilities, business centre, water feature and bespoke artworks.
Emirates currently operates 42 weekly flights to Bangkok with three A380 flights daily, and officials expect the lounge to cater form more than 300 passengers per day.
