Emirates expands 777 fleet

Emirates Airlines has taken delivery of two more Boeing 777 aircraft; one 777-200LR and one 777-300ER, the Straits Times has reported. The US$500 million order brings Emirates’ wide fleet of 777s to 63, with a further 39 on order.
The new planes will be used on routes to and from North and South America, according to the UAE’s WAM news agency.
