Emirates flight makes emergency landing

A Dubai-bound Emirates flight from Bangkok made an emergency landing at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in India due yesterday due to technical problems. Am Emirates spokesperson told Gulf News in an email; “Emirates can confirm flight EK385, an A380 aircraft from Bangkok to Dubai was diverted to Hyderabad International Airport due to technical snag in the aircraft,” adding that all 410 passengers aboard disembarked safely. Of those, 205 passengers later departed on EK 527 at 10:20 local time and a relief aircraft was deployed to carry the remaining passengers.
