Emirates to fly Bangkok to South America

Emirates will launch flights from Bangkok to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, early in the new year. The airline will commence daily services from Bangkok to Rio via Dubai on 3 January, with an extended service to the Argentine capital. This move is in response to the perceived global increase for demand in travel to South America.
The Dubai-Rio de Janeiro-Buenos Aires service will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, offering eight first class private suites, 42 lie-flat seats in business and 304 seats in economy.
EK 419 will leave Bangkok daily at 2.40am, arriving in Dubai at 5.45am. Passengers connecting to EK 247 will leave Dubai at 7.05am and arrive at Rio’s Ant
