Emirates to launch Durban in October

Emirates will start flying to theSouth African coastal city of Durban in October, Gulf News reported. Thecarrier is reportedly expecting travel to grow on that route as the countrygears up to host the 2010 World Cup. Emirates is one of the events officialpartners.
The daily service, using Emirates’ 278-seatAirbus A330-200, will provide the only direct air link from Dubai to Durban,the report added.
