SINGAPORE’S Esplanade is expected to attract larger crowds of tourists after completion of a $6million refurbishment to its outdoor theatre and waterfront.
Plans include increased seating and standing capacity of the theatre to accommodate for 1100 people and extending the stage 11 metres over the water.
Ravi Sivalingam, Esplanade’s deputy director of operations said the change would complement the building of integrated resorts over the next two to three years.
