Ethiopian Airlines will launch its first flights to Japan this year.

The return services will leave the Japanese capital every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 2045, getting back into Addis Ababa at 0600 the following day.
Flights will be operated using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
“Japan is the world’s third largest economy and one of the main financial and economic centres with growing investment, trade and tourism ties with Africa. Ethiopian flights to Tokyo will enable the strengthening of investment, trade, tourism and people-to-people ties between Africa and Japan,” said Ethiopian’s CEO, Ato Tewolde Gebremariam.
