In an effort to boost tourism to Seychelles, Etihad Airways recently increased its service between Abu Dhabi and Seychelles from four flights per week to a daily service.
This has resulted in the total number of return flights operated by Etihad Airways and Air Seychelles between Abu Dhabi and Seychelles to 14 per week.
Etihad Airways commenced services between Abu Dhabi and Mahé in November 2011, while Air Seychelles began operations in March 2012. The airlines now operate a two-class Airbus A320 with 16 seats in business class and 120 in economy class offering more than 3,800 seats on the route each week.
