Etihad rolls out easy check-in options for peak season

The forthcoming festive weeks prove to be a strain on most airlines. In order to ease the pressure for both passengers and airline staff, Etihad Airways has rolled a range of checking-in facilities. Starting from 16 December until 24 December, the initiatives include moonlight check-in, city check-in, e-hub check-in and hub check-in allocation.
Passengers checking-in during the moonlight check-in will be allowed an additional five kilograms of baggage, a complimentary 5,000 bonus Etihad Guest Miles voucher and one hour’s free parking at Skypark. Moonlight check-in will be available up to 24 hours prior to departure.
A complimentary shuttle bus service is arranged to transport guests from the Abu Dhabi City Terminal at Madinat Zayed to Abu Dhabi International Airport in the city check-in option. The E-Hub check-in option offer passengers a number of branded check-in podiums located in T1 and T3 Departure Terminals. And finally in the hub check-in allocation is when selected flights will depart from Terminal 1A on 19 December 2014, when numbers of local joining guests are forecast to be particularly high.
