Etihad signs FFP deal with Czech Airlines
Etihad Airways has formed a new frequent flyer partnership with and Czech Airlines.
From 1 August, members of Etihad Guest and Czech’s OK Plus frequent flyer programmes will be able to earn and redeem miles on the flights of both airlines. The cooperation builds on an 18-destination codeshare relationship which the two flag carriers launched in June 2011.
“This is a natural next step in developing our partnership with Czech Airlines and in providing members of Etihad Guest and OK Plus with the fantastic opportunity to earn and spend miles seamlessly on each of our networks,” said Peter Baumgartner, Etihad’s Chief Commercial Officer.
“Czech Airlines is a quality airline with an attractive network, and one that links with our own global operations over Abu Dhabi. Now our Etihad Guest members flying with Czech Airlines will earn Etihad Guest Miles which can be exchanged for free flights, to make purchases from the vast array of products available in the Etihad Guest online Reward Shop, or be converted to make cash payments in more than thirty million retail outlets worldwide with PointsPay – an unmatched loyalty proposition.”
