Etihad to launch Hyderabad flights

Etihad Airways is to boost its Indian network with the addition of Hyderabad flights. The airline will become the first airline to operate flights between Abu Dhabi and the state capital of Andhra Pradesh when it launches four weekly direct services from November 2009. The service, using a two-class Airbus A320, will become daily from the start of 2010.
“Etihad has made no secret of the fact that it wants to build up its Indian services,” Etihad’s CEO, James Hogan, said in a statement. “Hyderabad is a key Indian destination not currently served directly from Abu Dhabi
